About Us

Accountability Over Convenience

Ethical, transparent, science-based service dog training in Las Vegas.

Our Founder

Built From Lived Experience

Nose For Success was born from frustration with a broken system. Our founder spent years navigating an industry plagued by unregulated programs, years-long waitlists, and inconsistent training standards -- while living with Lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition that makes daily life unpredictable.

That firsthand experience -- both as a handler who needed a service dog and as a trainer with 8+ years of professional experience -- shaped everything about how we operate. She trained her own service dog out of necessity, then turned that knowledge into a mission: building a program that prioritizes the handler-dog bond, ethical methods, and real accountability.

Before founding Nose For Success, she worked across shelter systems, private training facilities, and behavioral rehabilitation -- gaining hands-on experience with dogs of every temperament and background. From reactive rescues to high-drive working breeds, that depth of fieldwork is what sets our program apart. We've seen what works, what doesn't, and what actually holds up when it matters most.

She also witnessed firsthand how many service dog organizations fail the people they claim to serve -- delivering undertrained dogs, providing little post-placement support, and operating with zero transparency. That experience fueled a commitment to do things differently: smaller caseloads, higher standards, and a level of communication most programs never offer. Every client has direct access to their trainer, real-time updates, and a clear path from day one to graduation.

Today, Nose For Success serves the Las Vegas Valley with service dog placement, an owner training academy for handlers who want to train their own, and private obedience programs for companion dogs. The mission hasn't changed: build partnerships that last, with methods you can trust.

Where It Started

Meet Willow

Willow was the dog that changed everything. As the founder's first service dog, she proved what a well-trained partnership could do -- and exposed every gap in an industry that claims to help but often falls short. The bond built with Willow became the blueprint for every placement Nose For Success delivers today.
